The people who configured the system answer when something fails.
Who it is for
Sage X3 is for companies that have outgrown an invoicing program and need to control production, stock and the accounts of several entities in one system.
Manufacturing
Work orders, actual costing and batch traceability, from incoming material to outgoing product.
Distribution
Stock across several warehouses, and purchasing and sales with pricing rules by customer and by channel.
Ports and logistics
With Ports & Shipping, the port call, the cargo and invoicing to the shipowner sit in the same ERP as the accounts.
Natural stone
With Stonify, every block and every slab is tracked from the quarry to the project, with the actual cost in Sage X3.
Multi-company groups
Several companies, currencies and languages in the same installation, with consolidation and each country's tax rules.
What Sage X3 covers
Finance and accounting
Chart of accounts, cost accounting, treasury, fixed assets and closing, with SAF-T and reporting to the Portuguese Tax Authority.
Production
Production orders, capacity planning, actual costing and quality control.
Purchasing and distribution
Procure-to-pay cycle, multi-warehouse stock management, shipping and invoicing.
Reporting and analysis
Operational and financial indicators from the same database, without parallel extracts.
Legislation
Sage’s localisation in Portugal, Spain, the UK and Italy; Angola and Cabo Verde legislation developed and maintained by us.
Integration
SOAP and REST web services, GraphQL queries and import templates to connect X3 to other systems.
One partner for the group’s countries
We implement Sage X3 in eight countries. Each country’s legislation arrives by one of three routes.
Our own legislation
Angola and Cabo Verde: we develop, maintain and license the VAT and e-invoicing packs. 15 companies use them.
Custom-built
São Tomé and Príncipe and Ghana: where Sage has no localisation, we develop the tax rules for the project.
Sage's localisation
Portugal, Spain, the UK and Italy: we implement and configure Sage’s localisation, and test it with every update.
How it compares with the alternatives
A company that has outgrown its invoicing software usually weighs up these options. Sage X3 implemented by Sevways brings together a group ERP, each country's legislation and the products we connect to it.

Frequently asked questions
Does Sage X3 comply with SAF-T and invoice reporting to the Tax Authority (AT)?
Yes. Sage’s Portuguese localisation handles SAF-T (PT), the ATCUD and reporting to the AT. We configure it, test it with every update and follow the tax changes.
Can we use Sage X3 in the cloud?
Yes. We install Sage X3 on the Sevways cloud and operate the server under agreed service levels. Sage's own SaaS edition of Sage X3 is, for now, only available in the United Kingdom, the United States and Germany.
How do we move to version 2026 R1?
We plan the upgrade with each client: we check the customisations and legal packs before upgrading and propose a schedule. What changes in this version is summarised in Resources.
Is there an Angolan legal pack for Sage X3?
Yes. We develop and maintain Sage X3 Local Angola (VAT, SAF-T and certification), used by 12 companies, and the AGT e-invoicing module.
In which countries have you already implemented Sage X3?
Portugal, Spain, the UK, Italy, Angola, Cabo Verde, São Tomé and Príncipe and Ghana. In Europe we use Sage’s localisation; in Angola and Cabo Verde, ours; in São Tomé and Ghana, we develop the rules custom-built.
