Stonify

Natural stone, from quarry block to delivered project

For quarries and natural stone processing plants in Spain that need to track every block and every slab through to the building site. Stonify was developed at Sevways and now belongs to Stonify, a company we founded; we connect it to Sage X3.

Who it is for

In a stone factory, the value of each slab depends on the specific piece, not on a generic item code.

  • Processing plants

Receiving, sawing, slab reservation and dispatch recorded as the work happens, without stopping the line.

  • Quarries

Blocks and offcuts scanned in 3D with a mobile phone, so they enter the inventory with their real dimensions.

  • Sales and showroom

Slabs photographed at life size and a searchable stock that can be shown to the client before quoting.

  • Companies with Sage X3

Inventory, costs and order progress updated in the ERP from each scan on the shop floor.

From digitised material to the order in the ERP

Stonify sits between the shop floor and management. It digitises the material, records each step in the operators' hands and passes the information to the ERP and to the people who sell.

The four Stonify products

  • OnScan Horizontal and Vertical

In-line slab capture, installed on existing processing lines. There is no need to redesign the line around the equipment.

  • OnScan PhotoStone

Life-size image capture for the showroom and catalogue.

  • OnScan Mobile

Mobile phone scanning, in 2D for flat surfaces and in 3D for blocks and offcuts.

  • OnShopfloor

Android application for operators: receiving, sawing, slab reservation and crate closing, with code scanning and buttons that can be pressed with gloves on.

  • OnManage

Projects and orders, from quotation to invoicing, with inventory, costs and progress updated from factory records.

  • OnDash

Digital, online inventory, searchable and shareable, ready for quoting, cataloguing and showing to the client.

AI agents for natural stone

The agents work on data from Stonify OnManage and the factory's ERP. A person approves before anything leaves the company or is written to the ERP.

  • Natural Stone Quoting

Reads customer requests for works and projects and prepares a detailed quote, piece by piece, with costs calculated from the factory's industrial costing in the ERP. A person approves before the quote goes out · available as a pilot

  • Production Manager's Assistant

Proposes the best schedule for cutting and manufacturing orders across the factory's machines and warns when disruptions fall outside the usual pattern · available as a pilot

  • Stonify OnManage MCP connector

Connects Claude, ChatGPT or Gemini to OnManage data, to ask about projects, orders and inventory in natural language, with each user's permissions · In production

Where Stonify differs from the alternatives

The usual alternatives record production, but not the specific slab. Stonify brings together material digitisation, shop floor recording and the connection to the ERP.

What we do with Stonify

  • Integration with Sage X3

We connect Stonify to Sage X3 so that each scan updates inventory, costs and orders without manual entry.

  • Workflow mapping

We follow a slab from receiving to the closed crate and choose recording points the operation already recognises.

  • Go-live

We plan the installation on the line as a maintenance job and support the period when paper and digital records run side by side.

  • Support

The product is supported by Stonify in partnership with us, in Portugal and Spain; the link to Sage X3 is handled by our team.

To get started

  • Material workflowfollow a slab from receiving to the closed crate
  • First recording pointfor example receiving, until paper is no longer neededshort, with an end date
  • OnScan installation on the lineat a time when the line would already be stoppedshort planned stoppage
  • Connection to Sage X3inventory and costs from the recordsfrom day one

Paper and digital recording coexist only during go-live. Durations depend on the line and the recording points chosen.

Frequently asked questions

Does Stonify belong to Sevways?

It was developed at Sevways and now belongs to Stonify, a company Sevways founded. We continue to connect it to Sage X3 in our clients' projects.

Does production need to stop for installation?

The OnShopfloor application goes in while the line is running. Installing OnScan on the line may need a short stoppage, which we schedule for a time when the line would already be stopped.

Can operators use the application on the shop floor?

OnShopfloor has screens with few fields, code scanning instead of typing and buttons that can be pressed with gloves on. At Mármores Galrão, fifty employees record production with it.

Can I scan blocks off the line?

Yes. OnScan Mobile scans with a mobile phone, in 3D for blocks and offcuts and in 2D for flat surfaces.
