Your ERP on a server our team operates every day

Dedicated servers for Sage X3, Cegid PRIMAVERA and the applications that depend on them. The same team that implements the ERP monitors the server, runs the backups and tests the restore, under agreed service levels.

  1. 01

    Data in Portugal

Servers in Lisbon or Porto, chosen in the contract.

  2. 02

    Private connection to the clouds

Azure, AWS and Google Cloud without going over the public internet.

  3. 03

The team that implements also operates

The ERP consultants and the server engineers work together.

Who it is for

  • ERP on your own server

Sage X3 or Cegid PRIMAVERA on an ageing server, with backups nobody tests.

  • Data that must stay in Portugal

Companies that want to move servers out of their premises without taking their data out of the country.

  • Companies without an IT team

Organisations without in-house resources to manage servers, identities and security day to day.

  • Mixed cloud use

Companies that already use Azure, AWS or Google Cloud and need a stable connection from their premises.

From rack to ERP, every layer has an owner

The physical infrastructure sits in a data centre in Portugal. The servers, operations and ERP are Sevways', within the contracted service level.

What can run on the private cloud

The choice between SaaS, PaaS and IaaS depends on how much of the infrastructure your team wants to keep managing.

  • Dedicated servers

Servers for the ERP, SQL Server and remote access, with storage and disaster recovery between data centres.

  • Private connection to the clouds

Redundant link between the company network and Microsoft Azure, AWS and Google Cloud, without going over the public internet, from 50 Mbps to 10 Gbps.

  • Storage across several clouds

Company data stored in three different clouds, so that a failure in one does not make it unavailable.

  • AWS services in Portugal

AWS services running in a data centre in Portugal, with encrypted storage and a choice of which data stays in public or private cloud.

  • Azure, AWS and Google Cloud

The public clouds, to host applications and data platforms alongside the ERP.

  • Microsoft 365

Productivity and collaboration as SaaS, with identities and access policies managed by us.

How it compares with the alternatives

There are several ways to move the ERP out of the server room. The difference lies in who is accountable for the infrastructure after migration.

Cases

Clients on the Sevways cloud

Three environments we run today, with three different ERPs.

  • Griner Engenharia, Angola · SAP S/4HANA

Angolan construction company that moved from Cegid PRIMAVERA to SAP. Since 2023 the SAP environment has run on the Sevways cloud, in a subscription we manage: around 25 virtual machines for production, quality and development, Solution Manager, Active Directory, Power BI and the company's own applications, with replication on the production machines. In August 2026 we coordinated the SAP S/4HANA upgrade, with a change freeze, a full backup and a rollback plan.

  • Sealing technology company, Luanda · Cegid PRIMAVERA

Dedicated server on the Sevways cloud since 2021, with Cegid PRIMAVERA and SQL Server for the administrative team. Access is VPN-only, through a managed firewall; the server has antivirus, daily backups with one month's retention and 24x7 monitoring. Sevways manages access and provides support, in an ISO 27001-certified data centre.

  • Natural stone group, Portugal · Sage X3

Sage X3 has run on the Sevways cloud since 2022. When version 2022 R1 required a newer Windows Server, we migrated the ERP to a new server in parallel, without changing how users access it, and kept the old server until sign-off. Later we set up and, at the client's request, retired the Sage X3 People server, with the data archived.

How a migration works

  • Assessmentservers, applications, data, dependencies and actual use of each
  • Designmodel, servers, service level and monthly budgetfixed in the review
  • Phased migrationtests with users before the old system is switched offfixed in the review

The migration schedule is set out in writing at the end of the review.
