Sage X3 Local Angola

Angolan legislation in Sage X3: VAT, periodic return and annexes, SAF-T (AO) and signed invoices as the AGT requires. We have developed and maintained the localisation since 2019, use it with our own clients and license it to other Sage X3 partners.

How it works

From the signed invoice to filing with the AGT

What the localisation does in Sage X3 on each invoice and at the end of each period.

  1. 01
    Issue

The invoice is saved in Sage X3 with a controlled number, date and time.

  2. 02
    Signature

Sage X3 signs it with the RSA private key and chains the hash to the previous invoice.

  3. 03
    Document

The invoice is printed with the hash characters and the certified-software statement.

  4. 04
    SAF-T (AO)

At the end of the period, the sales or purchases file is generated and its totals checked in Sage X3.

  5. 05
    Delivery

The SAF-T and the periodic return with its annexes are submitted on the Taxpayer Portal.

Certified by the AGT

Who it is for

  • Angolan companies on Sage X3

That need to meet AGT obligations without customising the ERP themselves.

  • Groups with a subsidiary in Angola

Running Sage X3 in Portugal, Spain, France or elsewhere, opening or already running an Angolan company on the same installation.

  • Sage X3 partners

That implement Sage X3 in Angola and want to license the localisation instead of developing it.

What the localisation covers

  • VAT

Rate and exemption codes, AGT exemption reasons, withheld VAT, reduced rate and the Cabinda regime.

  • Periodic return

VAT return calculation and the supplier and adjustment annexes, in XLSX for the taxpayer portal.

  • SAF-T (AO)

Sales and purchases files in XML, with a function that checks the totals before submission.

  • Invoice certification

RSA signature and control hash, controlled counters and dates, document templates approved by the AGT.

  • Cancellations and credit notes

Invoice cancellation through its own transaction, and a credit note always linked to the source document.

  • Data integrity

Item description and customer NIF locked once signed documents exist.

How it works in Sage X3

Instead of changing the Sage X3 product, the localisation is a licensed add-on, as other software producers do.

  • Objects in Sage X3

Tables, fields, screens and processes of its own for the VAT codes, the return, the annexes, SAF-T and licence control.

  • Java Bundle

The RSA signature required by the AGT runs in a Java Bundle, the Sage X3 technology for using Java libraries.

  • Setup

Accounts, rate codes and counters configured by the partner or the client, according to the decrees and AGT guidelines.

For Sage X3 partners

We license the localisation to other Sage X3 partners, who keep the client relationship.

  • Licensing

With legal updates included and release notes in Portuguese.

  • Webinar and templates

The document templates approved by the AGT and training for your team.

  • Second-line support

Support for the partner's implementation team, with no direct contact with their client.

Frequently asked questions

Is e-invoicing included?

No. Sending invoices to the AGT is a module of its own, contracted per document pack per year. It requires the Sage X3 Local Angola localisation.

Which Sage X3 versions are supported?

U9, V11 and V12, with the latest patch available. The e-invoicing module requires version 12, patch 35 or later.

Can we run Portugal and Angola on the same Sage X3?

Yes. Each company has its own chart of accounts, currency and country legislation on the same installation, and finance consolidates from the same database.

I am a Sage X3 partner. Can I use the localisation with my clients?

Yes. We license the localisation with updates included and give your team second-line support, without contacting your client directly.

Is there an Angola pack for Cegid PRIMAVERA?

No. Our Angolan localisation is for Sage X3 only. Cegid PRIMAVERA already comes prepared by the vendor for the AGT obligations.
