Six companies, six ways of recording the same operation
The group grew through acquisitions and each company kept its own spreadsheets, its own port call schedules and its own way of invoicing services. The information only came together at month-end close, too late to correct anything that had gone wrong on a port call.
Ports & Shipping as a common base since 2019
We implemented the port call, cargo, documentation and invoicing modules on a single database, connected to the financial ERP, and extended them to the group's six companies. Records are now made at the point of origin, including on the quay, with mobile apps connected in real time to the same database.
Ports & Shipping is the suite we developed for maritime and logistics groups with several companies and activities: shipping agency, depot, transit and road transport in the same system, with the group's finance in the ERP.
A hundred people working on the same information
Operations and finance consult the same history by vessel, customer and port. The system has been in production for more than five years and has kept pace as new companies joined the group, without a change of platform.
